This week, we celebrated National Storytelling week in the Study Centre.

Five of our teachers read some of their favourite stories to us and brought them to life from the pages!

Mrs Elliott read from ‘The Secret Garden’ by Frances Hodgson-Burnett and Dan Brown’s, ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Mr Cummings terrified us with two stories by Louise Cooper, The Ghost at Ivy Cottage and Till Death Us Do Part’.

Miss Hall read a chapter from ‘Face’ by Benjamin Zephaniah and Mrs Banks read from ‘Lord of the Flies’ by William Golding. We were captivated by all of them.

On Friday, Mrs Howarth read an amazing chapter-that took us all by surprise- from ‘If I Stay’ by Gayle Forman. None of us were expecting what happened and now we all want to borrow the book!

Thank you to all the teachers and students who took part.

All the books are now available in the Study Centre.
