We have received some fantastically spooky and scary stories over the years and 2017 proved to be no exception.

There were weirwolves, vampires, skeletons, ghosts, witches, beasts and chainsaw-wielding demons!  We were so impressed with the quality and imagination in the stories.  After much deliberation we chose our favourite three stories.

The winning story (see below) came from Sophie Little, 9.2 who was presented with a hamper full of Halloween goodies by English teacher, Mr. Cummings. Well done Sophie-a brilliant story!

2nd Prize went to Marianne Chapman-Fox, 8.5 who cleverly used verse throughout her story and 3rd Prize went to Noemi Di Giuseppe, 7.2, whose story, “The Shadow” was beautifully illustrated throughout.

Well done and thank you to everyone who took part.
